People Can’t Change Character But They Can Change Habits?

Unfortunately many people will tell you that a person’s character can not be changed.

However, we all know people who have changed their habits.

So people can change.

People change all the time.

Changing habits is really just a change in character.  All it takes to change, to improve, is the humility to recognize there is room for improvement and a reason to care about making the change.  From there effort, teamwork, courage, discipline and perseverance come into play. Finally, leadership and awareness will allow one to help others to change, to grow, to improve.

A durable change in habit requires a durable change in character.

You may know it all but I sure don’t.  I learned a few valuable things today about changing habits and changing character by watching this short CNN piece.
